SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER

You will serve as a SUPERVSIORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the PACKAGING, HANDLING, STORAGE, AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.


  • You will serve as a focal point for packaging and transportation of hazardous materials.
  • You will maintain a mastery of continually changing domestic and international modal regulations governing the movement and packaging of hazardous materials.
  • You will oversee program management and strategic direction including financial management, communication, and technical functions.
  • You will supervise and provide technical guidance to leads and staff while performing administrative functions.
  • You will evaluate Navy Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation programs to ensure mission related requirements are met.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, directing, and evaluating life-cycle logistics and supply chain management programs; interpreting and applying hazardous materials (HAZMAT) regulations for the packaging and transportation of hazardous materials; supervising and leading professional and administrative personnel, including assigning work, evaluating performance, and resolving personnel matters; and advising senior leadership while coordinating with Department of War organizations, military services, and other stakeholders to support complex logistics operations.
