HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR REL/EMPL REL)

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LABOR/EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the Labor and Employee Relations Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-13001830-26-KTP. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement


  • You will develop and recommend policies on employee and labor relation issues
  • You will implement actions concerning grievances, appeals, counseling, and employee services.
  • You will assist management in conducting pertinent inquiry on grievances, appeals, and proposed adverse actions.
  • You will serve a senior advisor/consultant on impartial investigator on employee complaints
  • You will develop, modify, and present course material on a wide variety of labor and employee relation policies, practices, and procedures
  • You will develop formal correspondence on a full range of disciplinary and adverse actions.
  • You will advise management in labor relations on the need to consults (e.g. labor management, union representation, bargaining unit status).

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing actions concerning employee-management communications, grievances and appeals; assisting management with inquiries on grievances, appeals, and proposed adverse actions; provides training on a wide variety of labor and employee relations policies, practices, and procedures; and provides advice and assistance on discipline, adverse actions, and related functions.
